This is a very interesting thread. Your posts were really amazing. I need to go back and read some of them again.
As to the subject of the thead. I see a man who exchanged living with his mommy to living with a wife which he finds much more comfortable. He does not need to work, invest emotionally and physically in the relationship or do anything that he doesn't feel like doing and in return he also feels free to criticize.

The woman is also comfortable with the situation even though she feels that society expects him to work and contribute to the relationship. She can postpone dealing with her problems.

Now about marriage without sex - it depends on the age of the couple. If a middle aged couple does not have sex but are emotionally close and are inimate with each other hug, kiss, etc. and are good friends - it can work. If it is a young couple eventually one of the partners will need the actual act and may look for it outside of marriage. The lack of sex is a symptom and not the problem. A couple needs to know the reason. I think that chemistry should be a very important reason for getting into a long term relationship. There are many different ways to keep a couple happy with each other that may not involve the act of intercourse.
